Default whats good for starting?

i was wondering what you guys would think would be a good starting out point of a begginer, i am getting to old for the junior drag racing, and im just an average joe kinda person, with not alot of cash, can you suggest something for starters?

get into bracket racing, its probably is going to be the cheapest for you. for a car, try a mid to late 80's mustang, they are light and you can stuff a big motor into if you needed or run the 5.0 motor some come with.

I agree with SouthernMuscle. Bracket racing fits just about any budget. And you can always make progress with the car and only get better. Good luck with any type of racing you choose.

If you have a car now, any kind of car that can pass tech, bracket race it. Later when you have more money, get whatever kind of car you want. The main thing is to start learning as soon as you can. Once you are making passes, you will know if you or the car is running close enough to repeat pass after pass.
