This may be a dumb question. I run a 10:1 (93 octane) motor in my "67" Firebird. It runs 11:00. The car is street/strip. Can I switch to E85 (85% ethanol 15% gas) and make the same power or more? Ethanol has more BTU's per GA than Methanol. I know I would have to change my jetting on the carb (how much?) and burn more of it. I can buy E85 for about $2.10 ga. Maybe it's a bad idea. Some feed back from someone smarter than me would be great.
