Default How much Compression?

I'm getting ready to start a rebuild on a '95 V6 4.3L for my 1/2 ton chevy. I want to keep the V6 (NOT GO WITH A CRATE MOTOR) and use a single turbo setup using a T-4 style turbo. Does anyone know the correct compression ratio for V6 turbo motors? Please keep in mind this is not strictly for track use.

I would look up the specs on the gmc cyclones. You know, the lil sonoma trucks that they put the superchargers on them and made them wickedly quick. I would guess no more than a final comp ratio of 8:1
