Default BBF Tuning questions

Hello,

I am a newbie here. Also, a newbie to competitive drag racing. I built a 557 stroker 385 series BBF. I built the car and engine for street/strip use. For whatever reason (mostly I like the look), I put an Offy dual quad setup with dual 660 Holley carbs that were tuned for street use. I am new at tuning such an engine. Most of what I have built in the past was mostly "mild" small blocks. So, finally, here is my predicament. I recently had the engine dynoed. It was about 40 hp less then I had hoped. It came in a 718 hp at 5700 rpm with about the same torque on pump gas. I should have tuned it while on the dyno, but time was very limited. So, I figured I would ask around for suggestions as to how to tune it to reach the 750 hp + mark, if that is possible? The car is currently tuned for street. By adjusting timing and increasing jet size would it be possible to get the extra 40 hp? Any suggestions? Thanks!
