when did you start racing jr. drags? i'm 14 and been racing for about 3 1/2 years and just love it!

Wow, thats great and your only fourteen? cool, my friends little brother is about your age and is just toying with the idea to start racing, he sees his older brother do it and he wants to be a part of that, so what inspired you to start racing?

yep, only 14. i started racing because of the speed that was involved - I guess you can say I'm a speed junkey.

Is there an age limit that is set by the government when your allowed to start?

no age limit by the government - its set by the track or organization you run.

Jr Dragster pilots may begin at the age of 8 if they can prove that they are mature enough to drive. And it is not a Govt. ruling it is the insurance underwriters mandate.

They too have to undergo liscencing like the big boys/girls do.

It looks like I was a bit of alate starter then. I never realised you could start so young, I didnt think it was legal.
