What needs to be done to it to go race? Rollcage in? engine? Not enough info to say yet. Does it have a narrowed rear?

I think it would be better to buy a basic car and build it, rather than getting a built one. This will make you more comfortable and confident with your car.

Hi I have purchased a basic car and in the process of building. I believe in what you are saying about being comfortable and confident with your ride! LOTS OF WORK

I agree. When I bought my altered frame, it took me almost a month just to re-do all the stuff that needed to be changed. Better to just do it yourself and get it right the first time.

All depends on the deal you get and what your expectations are in the end. Most don't know what they want or change there minds before they finish a project. It takes ALOT of TIME and MONEY to build a nice/fast/safe car. Most people loose there shirts when they sell there stuff. If you can get .50 to the dollar you did great. So really if you take the time to find the rite deal you can save thousands.

Thats very good advise, for all, Know what u want, where u want to race, class, etc, them make a plan, or build sheet, price it all out etc on paper first. I have seen friends start with one car , then change to another moving pts etc , loosing money and time. This is a hobby for most of us, but again like Fast68rs said plan first!

i bought my ride build. I have the sheet what he spent builing it...I saved roughly 23,000 dollars. it was set up for the class i run and the only thing we had to fix was one part of the wiring. Which we didnt do for over a year because everything still worked decently. Just chevk it out before you put the cash down. Look at what you want in a race car and see how close it is to that
