this is my familys 69 camaro. My dad bought this car back when he was in high school. the car only had a v6 and he loved to race so he decided to tub it out cutting as much weight as he could out of the car and turn it into a drag car. He raced the car for many years with a very mild small block. when he passed away thirteen years ago he was in the process of swapping the small block for a big block. the car runs a gm 10 bolt and a built 350 3 speed trans. We've bought a motor and are in the process of getting the car ready to go back down the track. We've got some close family friends helping us with the car and will get us ready to race it.
My dad was a paint and body man by trade. he painted the car himself and impressed with how well its kept its shine over the past 14 years. the stripes are faded bady because he used the Florescent paint. i will be repainting the stripes and fixing a couple rust spots myself.
